How you can help

The Millennium Foundation is only able to assist the various institutions it supports through the good will and generosity of the community.

As part of the community there are a number of ways that you can support these institutions to continue to find cures and saves lives.

Donations

The Millennium Foundation relies heavily on donations received by individuals, corporate organisations and service groups to help fund research and other critical needs. No matter how large or small each donation does make an important difference to the quality of life of present and future patients, suffering diseases and viruses not just in Westmead Hospital but around the world.

Donations over $2.00 are tax deductible and can be made by:

• Phoning 1800 639 037 and supplying credit information.
• Sending a cheque or money order to the address below.
• Printing out the Donations Form and sending to the address below.

Bequests

Your life's good works can live on, through a gift in your will to The Millennium Foundation. In this way you will support life saving research, or assist in the procurement of critical medical equipment.

You can direct an asset of any nature to be used for any purpose at, or sponsored by, The Millennium Foundation at Westmead Hospital. Your bequest no matter how large or small will make a valued contribution to our fundraising efforts and our medical and research teams.

We understand that your Will is a very personal thing. However, if you would like to gain more information on how your Will can support The Millennium Foundation, please feel free to contact our Community Relations Manager, Brian Banfield on 02 9845 6289.

In Memoriam

When a loved one is lost it is instinctive to act to honour that person's memory. In most cases, it's by sending flowers ~ a beautiful way to express your feelings.

But there is another- by making a donation to The Millennium Foundation at Westmead Hospital - one that will honour the memory of your loved one forever and, at the same time, make a substantial difference to the lives of people right across Australia.

A donation in memory of your loved one is more than an expression of your feelings. It is a gift that can help countless individuals every day as a result of our funding of medical research.

"In memory of" donations are easy to organize, simply ask your Funeral Director, or the next of kin, to place an advertisement in the Funeral Notices that donations be made to The Millennium Foundation at Westmead Hospital.

Salary Deduction

Salary deduction allows you to donate money directly to The Millennium Foundation on a regular basis through your salary. Your nominated donation amount is deducted from your gross salary thereby giving you a tax advantage.

To assist in setting up your salary deduction please use our payroll deduction authority form. Once completed please hand to your payroll officer for processing.
